1. List the materials first

Tell us whether the bin is for household junk, renovation debris, yard material, or a combination. Do not assume every material can go in the same load. Drywall, roofing, soil, concrete, tires, appliances, and other heavy or unusual items need specific approval. Hazardous material such as paint, fuels, propane, chemicals, batteries, and asbestos does not belong in a standard bin.

For local rules on renovation material, read the Capital Regional District’s renovation and demolition guidance.

2. Pick a suitable spot

Share a photo of the intended placement location. The delivery truck needs a clear approach and a firm surface. Tell us about slopes, gates, overhead wires or branches, parked cars, and tight turns. We will review the spot with you before confirming delivery.

3. Confirm the rental terms

Our 20-yard bin is $599 for three days, including up to 1 ton of dumpage. Ask for a complete quote that confirms your delivery area, material stream, pickup date, taxes, charges for weight above 1 ton, and the cost of extra days.

4. Load only approved material

Keep the load within the bin walls so it can be collected safely. Do not put material beside the bin and expect it to be taken with the pickup. If the material changes during the project, call us before adding it.

5. Plan for collection

Make sure the truck can reach the bin when the rental is complete. Move vehicles or other obstacles before the agreed pickup window. If you need more time, contact us before the scheduled collection date to discuss availability and pricing.

Ask about bin availability or compare the option with crew-loaded junk removal. Uptown Disposal & Bins is a sister company of Uptown Moving.
